o everyone,
Has anyone confirmed if bachelor status employees (male or female) can be placed in the towers or not?
I have read a few different things regarding females on bachelor status and it's a bit confusing:
1) Bachelor females will definitely be placed in DHA.
2) Bachelor females are given priority to DHA compound BUT can be placed in any of the other compounds if DHA is full at time of arrival. This is a concern, since I've read some commutes are 3 hrs a day?!
3) Bachelor males can be placed in the tower but not bachelor females. The tower seems nice and I would def prefer living there to avoid a long commute. Even if it is less convenient in regards to having access to compound benefits.
I guess I will know soon enough when my visa le arrives!

I have a question; if you are offered accomodation at DHT, and should wish not take to it as your understanding was you would be located at one of the "actual" ARAMCO compounds, not a high rise building.
Do you reserve the right not to take it ?

No one gets to choose housing. It is assigned according to availability at the time of your arrival.
Very few new hires have been able to negotiate where they are housed. With the main Aramco compounds full, there may not be housing available, no matter what you want.
