We are just waiting on our Visa's, but slated to arrive Aug 20th:) My question is based on the forums Abqaiq is full how true is that? My kids are enrolled for school on the compound, will we arrive and live somewhere else and get bused in? When we lived there before (Ras Tanura) the camp was on 30 % full.

All the camps: DHA, RT, ABQ, and UDH are considered full. You may very well have a house already assigned to you. If you are not in ABQ, you would probably be in the Dhahran Tower and your kids would go to DHA schools.
Though considered full, if when you arrive there is a house available that you are eligible for, you can still be housed on those camps.
Aramco is hiring hundreds of new employees. They are doing as well as they can to have housing for all. Leasing new housing areas: Rakah, DHA Tower, + is the only option they have in the short term to keep up with the large number of employees coming in every week/month.

o, We are a Venezuelan family and we received our Visa and the final clearance letter yesterday. Originally it was indicated that our initial housing has been assigned in Abqaiq, but in the clearance letter it is indicated that SA cannot guarantee any specific housing assignment, this means that we can go to a place outside a SA compound? Our kids are 12 and 7 hence for us will be fundamental to stay in a compound when my wife and daughter can have more freedom. Anybody in a similar situation?

Aramco is currently housing new hires in two Aramco leased properties: in the Dhahran Tower, there is a discussion group on it under Living in Aramco Communities, and a compound: Rakah.
There is also a chance you would be assigned to ABQ if a house that you are eligible for is available when you arrive.
