Just wanting to find some families in Rakah to make this huge move more comfortable for our family. We have 3 kids aged 6 (girl), 8 (boy) and 13 (girl)... we're from Canada and have travelled overseas previously, but have never lived as a family in another country so our kids are excited but apprehensive. My husband and I have both worked/lived overseas previously, this will be his return to Saudi for work but this will be my first time there. So if there are any parents who can lend some wisdom or advice, please email me :-D My husband arrives July 2, we follow August 20.

Hi there - my family and I are presently slated for Rakah as well. We also have 3 kids but (ages 2,4,6). We are moving all at the same time and should be arriving on Aug. 15. We are from Calgary, AB, Canada and this is the first time overseas for all of us. We're all very excited for the adventure (a bit nervous too lol). My family and I are looking forward to meeting other families over there as well! Best of luck with the upcoming move!

We are moving from Canada as well. The nerves started to sink in once our visas arrived. Our arrival date is August 13. We would like to connect with folks that have been there for a couple of months to see how their kids adjusted to the bus ride.

Hi we are also Arriving in August around the 11th. We are British / American and have been living in Bahrain for the last 6 years, and many places before that. We have two girls 10 and 12(13 in Sep.). We will arrive a few days before you, but happy to answer any questions on what it is like to be fresh off the plane once we are there. And happy to answer any questions about Bahrain being as small as it is we are probably experts by now  Safe Travels, P.S. Hi,
We are arriving from London (UK, not Ontario) early August. We are a British/Latvian family. Our eldest (daughter) is 6 although our two boys are younger. Both my wife and I have lived overseas before but the first time out as a family.

My husband and I are coming to KSA with our 2 years old son. Our arrival should be October ( passport submitted/le assigned) We are also coming from Calgary,Canada. Looking forward to make some contact before landing :-)
