Can anyone tell me if it is ok for me to pack the clothes, stationery and other things inside the draws of the furniture that i am planning to ship. I have a side tables, dressers with lots of draws. Has anyone had any experience this way. Is it safe and ok.

Mostly it would be up to your shipper. As soon as you know who it is, call them for their procedures.

Alright thanks Vpainter. But read another posting about customs if shipping furniture. What is that about ? I was under the impression that Aramco takes care of the customs etc. is it not ?
Do we have to pay anything extra for the customs clearance.
Please let me know.

If you take a shipping option then Aramco takes care of things, yes there is a fee as they clear customs.
If you take cash-in-lieu, then you are responsible if you do a shipment.

How much do fees normally cost on an 11000 pound shipment? Is it by pound or item? I have searched "customs" and read through pages of returns - no luck finding answer. Does Aramco pay and then take out of paycheck? Thanks for any help!
