Hi all
I'm in the 'waiting for visa block release' boat but whilst this possible eternity passes, I had a quick question:
Is working for Aramco what it used to be? I mean the company was famed for its benefits and lifestyle package and how it treated its employees. The impression I get now is that, yes the money is still there, but housing/recreation clubs/social scene now is far more disjointed. A bit more of a rat race? I mean I've seen someone write they're moving in 70 families a month - how do you maintain any sort of personality with those kind of numbers?
Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts for or against this...
Thanks!

Each Aramco community has activities started by residents to match residents interests. As more families move in, new interests have emerged.
You can be as busy as you want to be in your social life. Work is work. Social life/family life is what you make it. Busy or laid back.

I would say the only major change on the "lifestyle" front is in relation to the current shortfall in housing availability. Most other aspects of the life here (recreation, social etc) haven't changed much in recent years (IMHO).
