First please sorry if you find this topic to be so lame considering all the visa, housing and many more issues. But 'cause I'm traveling alone the food topic is huge for me. Can somebody living in Abqaiq, kindly let me know what kind of breads and cheeses are available in the commisary?
I'm picturing myself having nothing but sandwhices as breakfast and dinner for a loooong time (is the only thing I can put together sucessfully without burning the kitchen down, except for a lasagna recipe that I learned and I'm good at) and I don't see myself going to the big stores just yet anyway

The commissary has a deli and it carries several types of cheeses. There is also fresh baked bread available and regular loaves of bread.
But no need for you to eat sandwiches all the time. There is a great Dining Hall with a variety of food for each meal of the day and a snack bar. Many men on bachelor status eat there.

You will also find a variety of pre-packaged cheeses in the commissary dairy aisle.
