Dears,
just I hang up with someone from Aramco HR in Saudi Arabia (I had FTF interview here in Saudi Arabia), As Im currently working in Saudi Arabia, he asked me to get him NOC (Non Objection Certificate from my current employer) to furnish me with an offer and without this certificate he will not send me the offer( which I find it is odd). after squeezing him to tell me about the expected offer he agreed to give me some hints like the base salary and benefits (Aramco will provide housing, children schools and medical) . my question is 1- Are the European(IRISH) getting 13 months pay/year or only 12 months?, I read somewhere here in the forum about the 13 months pay but I do not know if it is applicable for the European( IRISH) as well or not.
2- What is the end of service benefit? is it the same as you are getting 1/2 month for every year you serve (that is the Saudi Law) and if you resign you get only 1/3 of it for the first 5 years and 2/3 if you served more than 5 years.
3- what is the repatriation benefit? is it a certain % of the Salary (base or base and the 40%)? what is this %?
I will be graude if some one put some light.

Most of the information you ask for should be available from your HR contact. There were some changes to the payrolls and the net pay ends up being much the same. For non-US the general payroll (i.e. Global Payroll) would be: Monthly pay 1) Base salary per negotiation 2) Expat premium per company standards 3) Benefit supplement per company standards Bonuses and Extra Payment 1) There is an annual incentive program that varies year to year based on grade code and performance review. This will be between 1 and 2 months salary for most people. 2) Annual repatriation allowance depends on your home, determined by your passport, and family size. Payments is based on Y class airfare and a small amount for incidentals. End of Service This one is a bit murky. Essentially it is a combination of years of service and some multiples depending on the company standards applicable to you. There are two components: that required by Saudi Arabia law and the additional amount provided by Saudi Aramco. The value of these depends greatly on your years of service, with incentives to stay at least 5-6 years to get the maximum value. Your number on the end of service are close.
The overall benefits will be explained by your HR representative, although sometimes you have to really press to get the answer that makes things clear in your own mind. You will face some challenges with the process, but the results can be very rewarding.

If Aramco is asking for an NOC, then it is required. It has been Saudi Law for a long time that to come here sponsored by one company, you cannot change to another employer just because you want to. You must receive a NOC from your present employer for the next employer to be able to talk to you, thus no offer.
It is being considered to doing away with needing an NOC, but most things change slowly here. Aramco is following the law.
