Sorry if this has been answered before, I searched without luck.
I don't think I've paid for a cell phone in about a decade. My company has always provided a cell phone. Does Saudi Aramco provide a phone for expats, perhaps at a certain grade code?

Aramco does provide cell phones to employees whose postions require one for business. Otherwise, no.

What about laptop? Does Aramco provide company laptops to the employees?

It depends if your position needs a laptop or not. For example, people in IT who need to go to different sites need to have a laptop with them.

Oh that mean I need to consider my mobile bills which I haven't since long time. My current company is so generous providing me with one and - even overseas personal call -though I rarely use it for business. How much budget I can plan per month ?

Assuming that your dept decides your job does require you to have a cell phone (and SIM card) then you can only make business calls for free on it. You still have to pay for any personal calls you make using the company phone. You should also be aware that if you get a company phone and lose it, you have to pay for the replacement cost.

Seriously? How would anyone other than you be able to estimate how many phone calls and to where you make them?
But as far as the cost of phone calls from here, it's not much more than most anywhere else.

My husband always carries two phones with him. His business phone and his personal phone. He receives a lot of business calls on his personal phone, but here there is no charge for receiving a call. When he needs to make a phone call, he uses his business phone.
The rates are pretty reasonable here, and you can choose from different packages that include minutes and data. You can look at the websites for STC, Zain, and Mobily. Those are the 3 companies we have here and then you can compare their current offers.
