Dear All,
I am new to this forum and need some help. It is a great forum and I have already got answers of most questions by reading various posts.
I recently applied for a finance job. I received a call last few week from London recruiter team that there is an 'interest' in my online application and i will be required to attend interview in London next month. They asked me to fill a paper application form first.
Now the question I have is about 'secondary education' section. I have duel nationality. I am British and also have nationality of an Asian country. My earlier schooling was in my home country and my higher education including bachelor, master and professional education in UK. I have been reading some recent post on the forum where people had issue with degree/certificate verification process in their home country.
So my question is- can I leave the secondary education section as blank because I don't want to go to hassle of verifying my school certificates verified? Is this information is really necessary since all my professional and higher education is in UK and that should mater only?
I need to send the form back so will appreciate if someone can advise on this issue.
I have few other questions but will ask on turn once I move to next process.
Thanks in advance!!!!!!

Secondary education is high school and it will not have to be verified, only your degrees from university.

Thanks vpainter- much appreciated. Will ask more relevant questions later but one general question about life in Aramco.
As you can see from my ID- I have some interest in Chess. just wondering if chess is allowed in KSA or inside the compounds?
I read somewhere that you cannot take any board games so not sure!!

Dhahran has a chess club. The other camps probably have one also, if not, start one. Go to Recreation once you are here and they will tell you how. The Community Information Center in the compound you live in will be able to give you the contact information for the chess club.
That information may already be in your new home when you arrive. Look for a list of self directed groups in the paperwork placed in your home.

Grandmaster - My husband is also traveling to London in very early June for an interview. Please feel free to e-mail him at shrimpmonkey@yahoo.com if you would like to connect. vpainter - When they ask for a copy of certificates are they looking for college transcripts or just copies of diplomas for colleges and universities. Thank you all for your assistance.

Depends on what is necessary for your job. They do want verified copies of college diplomas. If a certificate is required for your job, they would want a copy of it also: CPA, etc.

Thank you! Verified copies of the diplomas were just what they were looking for prior to interview.

I have not put my desired salary while fillling out application as I don`t want to put a higher amount. What is the recommendation here ? should I just mention my basic salary which is very low after paying al taxes or just add certain % on top of my basic salary and mention it there ?
pm me if you can. Thanks

Aramco will ask for your pay stubs, so they will know your current salary.
Put down what you desire as pay. That is the question being asked.

o I have just attended an interview with Aramco today for a Safety Engineer position a sit when quite well. I was asked to submit pay stub prior to the interview is this right as reading through the posts on the forum this is done at a latter stage. Also can some one tell me what a verified degree certificate is ? Does it mean getting copies of your education transcript verified or just verification of the degree certificate itself.

Hi, I found this post looking for people at ARAMCO that play board games. There's a side comment from the OP asking about board games. I lived in the Kingdom for three years working for Raytheon. I brought several board games with me and had others shipped to me. Finding anyone other than my wife to play, that was harder.
