Hi gang,
We are slated to arrive late summer in Rakah. Our relocation package (possibly dated) mentions that there is only a snack bar, but the restaurant will open when there are enough residents to support it.
Can anyone expand on this? Is the restaurant open, and if so what is it like?

The restaurant is open for dinner only. I think the menu is diverse, quality is good and it's also reasonably priced. In addition, the snack bar also serves weekend brunch buffet.

It's also easy to order food for delivery, e.g. KFC, Pizza Hut, Hardees, various local restaurants. There is a list of restaurant phone numbers in your welcome package.

There are some really good local resturants that deliver and are cheaper than the resturant. The resturant is OK, but the pizza there not so much because it is frozen and the Pizzariffc down the road makes them fresh and pipping hot.

I do not know if any will deliver before 9pm during Ramadan.

We ordered from a couple of local places and they arrived before Iftar time. Placed the order at 5.30 food was there by 6 pm.
