We are just starting the Visa process...
Just wondering if there are many kids aged 11 (girls) and boys aged 7
there?
We have lived in the Middle East before and familiar with housing compound etc...
We have pets cat and a dog are there many dogs on the compound? What is the process like for bringing pets?
I have a Kuerig coffee maker will I be able to buy coffee for it?

Yes, there are lots of kids your kids' ages. Yes there are lots of dogs on camp.

How nice that you've lived on a compound before, it should be an easier adjustment for you than others who have never even been to the Middle East. We taught in Thailand years ago...but other than that we've lived in the US. Our daughter is 10 and it sounds like there are lots of 7-10 year-olds there and several people who are heading there this summer also have kids in this age range. I think they'll have lots of friends!
I, too, have a Kuerig coffee maker and wondered if the K-Cups that go in it are sold there.

Here is a direct answer from a Tamimi employee who is an Aramcon in DHA:
Tamimi imported K cups for the first time this spring, but I don't if they will continue to do it. Lots of people have brought their K cup machines with them, and you can buy little reusable filter cups. People bring their supplies in when they go on repat, too. So I would say bring it, buy the reusable filter cup and bring a supply of your favorite coffee cups, too
