Hi all,

I'm a British Chemical/Process Engineer with around 5 years working experience in the oil and gas industry. I've passed the interview but waiting to find out what I will be offered. Can anyone give me a rough basic salary and package that I should be expecting? I received an offer from Qatar petroleum last year which offered around £6000 per month so I'm hoping for something similar to that. Any experience or advice I'd appreciate it.

Generally it seems that you will be offered a base pay of a similar figure to what you earn now. On top of that you get expat overbase (% of base dependant on nationality). You get extras on top such as annual re-patriation etc
