I can't seem to find the answer on the boards, so I apologize in advance if I am repeating a similar question. However,
Does SA control their own pipelines? As in the actual moving and monitoring of pipe. My husband is currently a pipeline controller here in Houston and we feel that SA would be an excellent fit for both his career and our family. When I check the job openings I see engineering positions related to pipeline control so it appears as though they do monitor and move their own product, but I can't be sure. Thank you in advance for your help.

Thank you so much for the response.
I can not seem to find any job openings for this although every company has a different name for their controllers. Do you happen to know of what they call them specifically?
Also, there's no formal education that prepares you for this job it is just all on the job training. He has 5+ years experience so I am wondering if that is considered experienced enough to pursue this job?
I called the recruitment center here in Houston with these questions and left a voicemail but have not received a response so I thought I might get more info here.
Appreciate your time. Thank you in advance.
