Hi, I had a skype interview on 4/24 for a project in aramco. The interview went well. From google search on the interviewer, found he(saudi national) is the engineering manager for that division I was interviewed. In the interview, for first 30 mins, he asked about tell me about yourself, and a couple a questions on it. Overall I did fairly, with the exception of telling 'I dont know this technology' for a question on a new technology used.
For the next 30 mins, he started to explain the job responsibility, asked for expected salary, negotiated and fixed for a salary. The salary is pretty good. Then he asked on the available starting date to join, I told that I have a 1 month notice period, I can join as soon as its over.He said he expects/better to come in the end of may, as there may be a training going on at that time(though he also said, training is just 3 days and you can learn by yourself from the material, not a big deal). He started to tell that they will apply for a visa and you will come to dammam in that visa and after coming here, they will apply for iqama. He also asked for air ticket fare from my country to dammam.
Before ending he said that he will recommend me to the management and they will decide first whether to send the offer.
About me: I am 25 yr old, having a masters in education, 3 years work experience. Live in singapore, indian citizen.
After an interview, I felt really happy. With excitement I am searching for things like how to live in dammam, food, culture and read every blogs I can find of daily. With everyday passing without a offer, I am bit finger crossed, and expecting for the offer email desperately. I just want to clear off my head. I know its all about the management decision, time, and bit luck from here and have patience.
Could you explain your perspective on the interview outcome based on this detail provided? Whats my chance/probability for receiving a offer letter sooner ?
