I appeared in Aramco interview on 18 Feb. 2014 and I haven't heard anything from their side as yet. I was asked to have an answer within one month but no reply as yet (almost more than 4 weeks now). Few days back, I sent an eamil reminder to recruiter but no reply from his side side as well. Kindly let me know is it nomal way Aramco does reply people or are they not going to offer me job? Should I write them again? Thank you

It is perfectly normal to be that length of time and longer.
I recommend to people they stay in contact with their recruiters every couple of weeks. You do not want to be a pest, but you want to make regular contact.
It is normal for them not to answer until they have something to tell you.
Patience is the key for coming to work for Aramco.
You can do a search on the forum for "timeline" and read about the length of time between every stage of the hiring process.

You can call, you may only get an answering machine. They have a tendency to only respond when they know something. They are hiring hundreds of people, writing everyone as they need reassurance would be very time consuming, especially if they did not have an answer to the questions being asked.

It has been more than six weeks and I havent heard any feedback, should I wait or send an email reminder to HR? On the other hand, kindly let me know about the salary Aramco does offer for E&P people i.e. geologist, reservoir engineer or petrophysicist with an experience of 7 to 9 years? many thanks...

Dear Emil,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,As Vpainter had advised patience and perseverance are the two key ingredients here, as every person's circumstance is different. The fact is that you cannot say you are off the hook until you are in possession of your visa.
I realized that you've only been 2 months into the journey. My advise to you will be to think less of the opportunity and keep focussing on your current job; sort of regard the Aramco journey as a game. In my case, I first interviewed with them in May and left with the promise that an offer would come to me the following week. The offer never came until sometime in November, and there was no update from the recruiter, despite a series of phone calls and emails. As Vpainter had pointed out, they will prefer to play dumb, if they did not have any answer or update for you. So, relax, and enjoy the ride while you touch base with them, may be, every other week via email.

Good morning all. I want to talk about interview experience with ARAMCO. I had been interviewed in Houston and it was quite an experience for me. I had been interviewed by Saudi folks and it seems like they did not even read the resume or understand the resume. They jump from question to question before the answer had been completed. Do they go through “how to interview” training? They ask question and when I answer, it seems they have blank space in their eyes (they have no clue what the answer is). Please share your experience.

Esra - Aramco can only afford to send a limited number of interviewers to Houston - not so much for the travel costs as for the time away from work for relatively senior people. As such, they do not always have experts in every technology or business line sitting across the table. And they interview a lot of people in a relatively short time.
Remember - they are not there to listen to the answer to a question - they are there to judge you, your knowledge, and your personality. They don't necessarily have to know a lot about your particular work domain to make a judgement on that.
Hopefully, you handled the ambiguity of the interview process well.
