Couple of basses on the flight with me from The States, and amp/etc being packed tomorrow.
Expecting to arrive on the 18th and first day at R&D Center on the 20th.

Hi, I'm a drummer (+12 yrs) I'm going thru the rellocation process from Houston, I plan to get there around October timeframe in case everything goes ok. I dont think I'll take my drumset with me but depending on our housing I'll buy a new or used drum set. Glad to see this post! cheers!

OK.....Looking for a drummer now.....and keyboard player.....and a lead singer if anyone has such a desire........blues....rock.....alternative...covers mostly from the 60s - 90s

o everybody, I'm a bass player relocating to DH from Rome (Italy) on November 1st.
I play rock and blues (Cream, Clapton, ecc.) and would love jamming with someone as soon as my basses arrive. Did anybody buy a bass guitar or an amplifier in KSA or in Bahrain? Would you please post your advise?

We bought a bass guitar for our son from the Yamaha store in the Al Rashid mall.
There are people in DHA who will welcome you to jam with them.

Yes...welcome bassman.......I think you should bring as much quality gear as you need.....its better that way.....I just brought back a new Gibson Les Paul. Keen to Jam....
