Hi,
I have been offered a role in GC13 (Engineer 2). I have been told that the work location is Udhailiya and family accomodation will be in Abqaiq. I will be moving from UK with my wife and 1 daughter.
How long is the commute from Abqaiq - Udhailya or will I have to stay in Udhailiya during the week and visit family over the weeked in Abqaiq?
Also they have allocated me a 2 bed house. Is it possible to negotiate for a 3 bed as my parents and in-laws will be visiting quite often so a guest room is a must.

Housing is based on GC and number of children. It is non negotiable. Guest rooms are not considered for visitors for anyone.
Commute from ABQ to UDH is an hour.

Most 2 bedroom homes actually have an extra bedroom that you can use as a guest room or an office or a play room...whatever you like.
Soon there will be more housing available in UDH because all of the contractor families have to move out by the end of the summer. Most are leaving in June or July as far as I know. So, maybe your wait in ABQ for a home in UDH won't be too long.

Thanks for the answers guys. I have checked with them and as mentioned its non-negotiable. However I can apply for a change after 2 years. Also for work location 1 hr is ok for me, I would prefer to stay in ABQ as its more closer to other cities.
I was looking for the floor plan in the guide provided but it only shows lay out for a 3 bed house. do you have any pics of housing in ABQ and floor plan for a 2 bed house?

When was your interview? I was interviewed by Aramco yesterday for an Engineering position, I'm waiting for a response yet, just wondering what the timline is.
