o Everyone,
First post here.
Anybody from the Oil Sands in Alberta Canada ?
The salaries here are already inflated vs the rest of Canada and I'm wondering if the salaries offered at SA are above or considerable?
Also, I'm curious if your job offers came from your online applications of job fairs.
Much appreciated, eh?

I suggest you apply. If you get an offer that's good for you, take it. If not, say no thank you.
Jobs are offer to those who apply online and to those who attend job fairs. Since there are only a couple of job fairs a year, the majority are hired through online application.

I am working oil sands in Calgary now and the offer I received was very similar to my current salary, then they added some extra benefits that made it really attractive . But as VPainter said you apply, get an offer and make a decision.

From my personal experience, Saudi Aramco takes this into account. If they're interested in moving you and your family into KSA then they will make it worth your while. One other point to consider is the amount of time you currently get to spend with your if you're working Alberta Oilsands. If you're working up at site on a schedule I can guarantee that you'll see A LOT more of your family working over in KSA. It's kind of hard to put a dollar value on that.

Guys,
I appreciate your replies, and I have to agree, it's hard to put a dollar value on personal and family time.
I'll keep you posted.
Thanks.
