Hi, Currently living and working in Bahrain, and waiting for visa block (since October) to join Saudi Aramco in PR/Media Dept.
For the first time I will join as bachelor status because of some family related reasons, but just want to ask for some legal things:
- is it possible to hold Bahrain residence (work wisa - part time) and Saudi residence (with work permit from Aramco) in the same time? - if not possible, is it possible to get a Bahraini residence for my family based on my Saudi work visa with Aramco? I know many people work in Saudi, while their families live in Bahrain. I heard that company needs to issue some kind of document so the rest of the family can get Bahrain residence.
Just to be clear, bachelor status means I will be living/working in KSA without family based in Kingdom, so technically an d logically, my family can live in Bahrain.

One of my friends holds resident permit in Saudi Arabia as well as Bahrain. He lives in Bahrain with his family and works in Saudi Arabia with daily commute.
Hope this helps!

Should be okay. Not sure if the situation is different but a lot of Aramcons send their kids to the American Boarding school in Bahrain and their kids have both the Saudi Iqama and Bahrain Residence Permit.
