Hi folks, I just wanted to confirm if Aramco calls both the HR and the supervisor from your previous employer or they would only call the supervisor if you have put him down as your reference. Any help will be appreciated. Regards

In my case none of the references which I listed have yet been contacted. I know that in the first week of Feb the BI investigator contacted HR of an employer which i left in 2010. (Nb. I am yet to have BI cleared).
I doubt whether they would contact any supervisor for whom you did not provide contact details ... in western countries privacy laws prevent HR saying much beyond verifying employment dates and position

After the interview if you are sent an offer, it will state the income offered. The hiring process is many times long. Should you get your raise in June after you've accepted an offer from Aramco. Ask for Aramco to match your raise in writing and submit a pay stub for proof of the raise. Many times, Aramco will match the raise.

the interview went well although the questions are too far away from the skills and profession they are looking. nevertheless, i outwitted them with my technical knowledge but i didnt think i will pass with that one because they (Interviewer) seems to be perfectionist. they were kinda so strict saudis.

Which kind of verification they do? Do they call HR or supervisor? Which kind of questions they normally ask?

FYI on BI process ... my experience
I contacted my references about three weeks ago and they said they were yet to receive a phone call. The next day I was very surprised to learn my BI had cleared (done from London). This can only mean that investigators relied on the paperwork I submitted proving prior employment (statements of service, payslips, employment contracts)
Note that four weeks after I submitted the paperwork BI called me and asked for a friend who could provide a character refererence, so you will know your file is open when you get this request.
Good luck all!
