Hi guys, my hubby got interviewed on 25th November 2013, it was on Skype. He did not get any offer as yet. Is it normal? As hubby is getting very nervous, what you guys say? Does anyone else experience such situation? Thanks

Yes, your timeline is normal. You can do a search on the forum for "timeline" and see lots of examples of the timespan from application to interview, interview to offer, etc.

Bina..................your hubby should not give up yet. I got interviewed in May of 2013 and didn't get an offer until November. Looking at the timelines in the forum, some are quick, within a month or two, but most fall within the 4-6 months time frame.
My advice is that your husband should focus on his present job and be intermittently sending emails to the recruiter asking for the status; he/she may or may not reply, but it doesn't hurt.

Bina I was interviewed Oct 1st last year and got the offer last week. Keep calm and run life as usual until you receive that beautiful email :mrgreen:

Hi there, I have problems logging in, forgot my password and I guess i can't get it on my email address when I hit the I forgot my password tab. Anyways I made this new userID. (from vpainter: email me I can reset your password and send it to you, then you can change it when you log in)
Ok so coming back to the topic....... A few days back my hubby called the local recruiter for any update, he told him to send him the pay slip and QR. so we are again waiting and it's been more than a week there is no reply yet from them.

Your timeline is normal. Patience is the key and it can seem like and be forever at times.
Just keep in touch with your recruiter every couple of weeks for an update.

I had received mail on 14 July 2014 from AOC UK regarding my previous interview in June. Sound positive, where they asked me to submit my current employment contract and payslips. I called the recruiter in UK, and they told me that SA in Dhahran is waiting for management approval. Howvever, I did'nt received any mail regarding telling that my previous interview was succeed. Is that normal? how long usually it takes from HR SA in Dhahran to send me an offer?

Kinda disappointed, my husband had 2 interviews n 2nd one was positive and never got a call back until he called n they said a no but they said they will call why to explain its been 2 weeks nothing, iam hoping we get n answer but also another chance we were very happy and positive with the second one. ; ( confused. My question does this usually happen.?

It can. Apply for another job if you want. A different department, may mean a different result.

mine took less than two weeks from interview to offer ! I was very surprised, as I have read the stories here...now I have 14 days to decide
