o Everybody ,
I am offered a job, the job location is - KARAN,
The work residence is - Khursaniyah,
The Off work residence is - Rakah. ( Temporary stay , and likely to be shifted to RT in next 6-7 months)
It is not clear whether this is an offshore job or onshore ..( My experience is working onshore only )
Can anyone with same or simillar profile - answer to my following observations and queries ?
a) As per ARAMCO official website - Karan is an offshore work platform situated at approx. 160 Kms from Khursaniyah and that means one has to travel in a helicopter on daily basis from khursaniyah.
b) Special training ( swimming , diving , safety and operations on offshore platform etc.)is not required for Offshore working ?
c) On week offs - how do they commute between Khursaniyah to Rakah and in future RT.
