Hi there - I'm lined up for an interview for a drilling engineering position and am looking for some assistance. I haven't received much of a job description from the recruiter or from SA so I'm a bit in the dark as to what to expect out of the interview. Questions: 1. How are the teams set up? Engineers working with superintendents? What does the team hierarchy look like? 2. How many rigs per engineer? 3. What kind of field exposure can I expect? I enjoy being at the rig and look forward to making trips to observe operations. 4. Will I be allowed to demonstrate my experience soon after starting or will I be given a bunch of admin duties to fulfil? 5. What is the activity level outlook like? Will I be kept busy? 6. Any tips for the interview? 7. Any guesses where my housing location may be (Canadian, married, 3 kids)?
Thanks in advance!
