o everyone,
I had a quick question regarding the processing time people have experienced with regards to having their highest degree attested in the UK by the Saudi Cultural Attache.
I was told by the Harley Visa processing center that it can take from 2-10 weeks, and I was just wondering if someone could share a more recent experience with me in terms of their own timeline. The highest degree attestation needs to be completed before the Saudi visa application can be submitted, and I am just trying to get an idea to see how long it may take.
Thanks a lot,
tvdloo

You can also do a search on the forum for "timeline" and see recent and past timelines for new hires.

I think ASC has agencies in Houston that they use for degree attestation. In my case, I gave them the certificates and the agent told my relocation officer that it would take about 7 days to complete the process. This is, despite the fact that my degrees were from Africa. My guess is that yours would be faster if it were from any of the North American Universities.

Does Saudi Cultural Attache attest degrees, delivered through distance/online?

Through my recent experience I can say that saudi cultural attache insists on attesting only degrees through "regular mode of studies" and insists that the university/board letter authenticating the degree mention this specifically. After initially asking me to get an amended letter for my chartered accountancy degree which did not mention the mode of studies, my agent told me that my degree was attested by the cultural attache as it is. So they seem to be making some exception to the rule.

I would really appreciate if someone could let me know what their timeline was for having their degree certificate attested by the Saudi Cultural Attache in London if possible. As I had mentioned before the guidance from Harley in London was that it could take between 2-10 weeks and it would be great if someone could mention how long the process took in their case?

I am processing my degree attestation at the moment. I was told the same thing 7-10 weeks. The university took a week.( i rang them and pleaded ) It is with the Cultural affairs people now. they told me minimum of 2 weeks. ( i emailed them and pleaded ) so lets say 3 weeks. Saudi embassey told me 3-5 working days. so lets say another week.
So i am expecting and hoping for 5 weeks in total. but i can see how this can push to 7 weeks.
Just get the process started and get past the university stage. the holdup will be the cultural affairs bureau! The worst case i heard here was 8 weeks!

Hi JaiHind & other fellow members,
I'm new to this forum and would like to clarify something regarding Saudi Aramco hiring/visa requirements.
I'm a UK based applicant for a finance related position in Saudi Aramco. It appears that Bachelors degree is mandatory for this role for meeting Saudi Visa requirements. I'm an Associate Member (ACA) of the Insute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and also possess equivalence degree in Maters in Commerce (M.Com) based on my Chartered Accountancy qualification granted by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) - the sole regulatory body of higher education in Pakistan to determine the equivalence and recognition of degrees.
With this context, I would like to know if my M.Com equivalence degree will suffice the Bachelors degree requirement of Saudi Aramco / Visa Authorities?
Really appreciate if someone can please advise / share similar experience.
Many thanks and regards,
