what are the interviews like/questions etc - please read under the first discussion group: frequently asked questions about interviews. What is written there covers all interviews. what is the accommadation like in Saudi? single ladies housing is like efficiency apartments: 1 BR, bath, living/dining combined area and small kitchenette. What is the office clothing rule for women? slacks/skirts with blouses (not short skirts, blouses not low cut or sleeveless); dresses but not low necked or sleeveless or short; suits - if you want to, just no short skirts. {short would be more than a couple of inches above the knee} Are women allowed to ride bicyles inside the compound, if so, it is safe? yes, women can ride bicycles on the camps, it is safe but you have to watch for traffic just like anywhere. how lond does the recruitment process take? the hiring process can be a few months to over a year and all in between and all are normal timelines. You can do a "timeline" search and read many timelines from current and former new employees.
Any info or pictures would be amazing...thank you!!! XX

No, you can not choose or ask for the first assigned housing. Once eligible you can get on the bid list and try for another house.that is usually after 2 years in your first assigned housing.

Asking for all that information is normal for Aramco.

As a secretary, you will be a Grade Code 8 and will be housed in what is known as the Ballpark apartments. These are 3 story buildings, with approx. 20 apartments on each floor (dormitory style). Unfortunately, at present, even the Ballpark apartments are full and new starter secretaries are being housed in share accommodation (own room and bathroom). They are being told that this is temporary and should be for approx. 3 months.
As for moving out of the Ballpark, the reality is that it takes at least 4-5 years before you accumulate enough points to move out.
If you would like any more info, or pics of the Ballpark apartments, feel free to PM me, or send me your email address and I will forward on.
Good luck.

Mice, until you have completed the approval process on the forum, you will not have PM privileges. You will need to give your email address if you want someone to contact you until you have completed the process.
