Good night.
we are planning to arrive to UDH in a couple of months. We are living in Venezuela. I have chosen the Cash in lieu option to buy stuff in KSA and not to move things from our home in country. Is it possible to send via FEDEX, DHL or other a couple of boxes with personal stuff, condiments, books, etc to KSA?? I assume it will have to pass customs and then will go thru compound.
any comments about this?
We are planning to travel only with luggage (my wife, a 7 month baby and me).
also, any comments about UDH will be appreciated.

It is possible, although people have posted previously there was not a lot of difference in the shipping charges versus bringing excess baggage. Something to think about and look into. If you bring it with you, you will have it immediately. Aramco will be sure you and your possessions get to UDH when you arrive.
If you ship it depending on air vs sea: 10 days to 4 months. You will need a company here to clear it through customs and bring it to you.

If you are taking cash in lieu you are on your own. You can talk to them, but they probably will not be of help regarding shipping that Aramco is not doing for you. Doesn't ever hurt to try.
