Good Morning everyone,
I was communicating with my recruiter at ASC yesterday and he said my department is trying to escalate my Visa le and perhaps get me a new le. Has anyone ever heard this before?

I was notified by my relocation advisor that mi Visa le (geologist) arrived yesterday. I was one of the many who attended to the Hosuton Talent Quest in February and March this year. Now I will continue with the Visa application.
Good luck to the people still waiting for their visa les. :wink:

Hi all,
Just to share good news finally yesterday i received an e-mail that visa block is now available for me. they already have our passports so they will submit them to saudi embassy and i should expect stamped passport some time next week.

Great to see more people getting their visas! Has anyone heard from ASC Houston about visa block in September? I've heard rumors about mid-September, but nothing from my Releocation Advisor.

Cleared contingencies July 31 and I was told to expect a visa le during August but of course no promises. We just got the go ahead a couple days ago and dropped of all our passports. Not too bad, we've been working on the process since February.

has anyone from recent visa block received passports back from Saudi embassy yet after visa stamped? if so how long did it take from day you were notified of visa le?

We submitted our passports last Monday(1st Sep) and got them stamped and returned to us on last Friday(5th Sep).But still we are waiting for our kids immunisation to be done for school.

ckalamaras,
Spoke to my RA today, no sign of the visa block or result of contingencies. Medical check done mid-August (same time as you ckalamaras). RA suspects next block may be released in a few weeks time. However i wouldnt be too sure as the Hajj season is approaching and therefore i wouldnt expect any further visa's blocks to be allocated until mid October.
