Crawchie, ritzkool: mabrook! I think I can imagine how surreal it must be. Hopefully the next one will include South Africans, South Americans, Europeans and Canadians (and any other nationality/region I may have left out!). 8)

UK_Finance_Applicant,
The first "batch" o visa blocks where mainly for UK Nationals, this of course regarding the blocks that are on the waiting list from last year until early this year. Next block will most likely be for those who are waiting since 2013 early 2014 that where not covered in the previous 2 releases.

Great news guys....congrats to all of you!
I have decided that if I don't receive my visa until september(1 year after I signed my contract), I will probably cancel my contract and move on....I have rejected 3 job offers this year while waiting for Aramco....so, there are lots of other opportunities on the ground.....
Cheers!

Thanks erdna_oaoj And how often are these visa blocks issued? Is it once a month, weekly, or completely random?? I guess I know the answer - but still perhaps worth asking Cheers !

UK_Finance_Applicant, Yes you know the answer There is not a defined cadence you can check others timelines. I would say that in the most commum bases every 30-45 days but it's not a rule, sometimes it can be a little less, sometimes a lot more...

Hi everybody My visa block finally showed up after a record waiting time (1year since I got the offer june 2013). I wish all of the best to all of you who still waiting in such very long queue.
I have no clue how to apply for visa here as the RA sent an email to someone who suppose to guide me but he didn't reply since 2 days and she back to her silent habit. I will be not in ruch and use any slow or delay in the process to enjoy the life as much as I can here in Kuala Lumpur before leaving looool
Best regards

Ray,
The visa blocks are specific, for engineers at least. They will say Chemical Engineer or Petroleum Engineer. Other blocks can be less so, such as yst.

Hi Hero55, I read your PM to me and actually replied but it is stuck in Outbox for some unknown reason. Please e-mail me at ritzkool@gmail.com with regards to your visa application issue here in KL. Thanks.

I am really confused about these visa le/block. Some folks here on forum got their le in month or so and others are waiting for 9-10 months. I do not understand what is the reason.
May be it is easy for engineers to get visa le and others take longer?

Chrismater2000,
Every timeline is normal. For instance I'm an engineer and I'm waiting for it for 6 months now since January 2014.

Chrismater2000,
If you read this thread and another one called 'Timeline' in their entirety, you'll find possible explanations for the inconsistency you mention. Also, don't forget there is something rather dubiously referred to as 'luck'.
I've been waiting for mine since December 2013.
