Thanks for taking the time reading this. Hope someone can help me out a bit.
I am a ships captain and recently Aramco gave me an offer.
Most questions can be found in the booklets, forums, mail etc. This forum is also a great help btw. So there is not many questions remaining. The whole famely is very motivated and we all looking forward to it.
My COC is master mariner (master all ships, no limitations), but I mostly work on smaller vessels like ocean going tugs (various from 20 up to 205 bp), AHT's workboats (like shoalbusters) etc. Because I was a freelancer for many years, I had good an less good years. Like 2012 was very good, 2013 my worst in years. I say this because I think a lot of the offer is based on last earned wages, which didnt help me in this case.
They made a little mistake in the offer, it states single, and I was scaled in grade 11. But I am married with 2 children, so that will be corrected next week. What I want to know is what is a fair scale for my proffesion and rank. Maybe very few on this forum knows what I am talking about (the ship part), but the experienced expats might have a better idea what would be fair. Thats all I want. Or if someone can bring me in contact another captain would be good.
I searched everywhere, but can only find a lot of info on aircraft captains.
