Hi,
Can anyone offer assistance with how to find living accommodation in Al-Khobar and approximate rent for a 1 bedroom flat with small kitchen and bathroom.

Update from my last post.
Accommodation in Khobar in hotel complex area opposite al-rashid mall & Carefour supermarket are in the region of 2500SAR to 7000SAR PCM.
My apartment with a Shower-room, single bedroom, open plan lounge with kitchen with all items (fridge freezer, microwave, cooker, washing machine) is costing me 3500SAR PCM flat fully furnished. The furniture feels like flat pack IKEA quality but it's OK. The Apartment needed exposing to allot of Mr Muscle multi-purpose, tile cleaning chemicals, and bleach....now it's liveable.... Clean..... (Gave the room cleaning person 5 SAR, saved me getting my hands dirty....)
I prefer to stay out in the open as opposed to a compound, just gives me more freedom and see allot more....
Clothes washing shop (Laundry) is within 5minutes walk. Carefour and Al-Rashid mall are also 5minutes walk away... Mosque is directly behind apartment..... Office is 5-15minutes drive away..... Can't complain....
Note! I agreed a flag rate PCM as the day rate is double or even tripped during holiday season due to prime location - so be warned! Don't make it obvious you are a westerner as you will be quoted higher rates!
Booked apartment with my UK passport and Visa details, initially left 100SAR as deposit with a ETA of 1 week. Overall no strings attached.

Faisal-Iqbal, Hi, There is this new compound that just opened up in the Golden Belt Area in Khobar. It's called Daar Residence. you can email them to schedule a tour at daar.residence@theoasis.sa I just toured this compound. it is amazing. Hope this helps... Angie |
