Hi,
My son is due to join us in January/February 2014. He is interested in further education in instrumentation or engineering anybody know any details?
Also he is asking what activities he can do, or what lifestyle is available for male 19 year olds.

Before he arrives you can go by the Recreation office at the corner of King's Road and Ibis and pick up the returning student form. When he arrives, you can get photos of him in the photo shop in Al Mujamma of the correct size and pay the fee for him to have a returning student ID. He will then be able to go to and participate in the activities at the Returning Student Center across the parking lot from the Art Group.
Do not know if he could attend any colleges in KSA.

My apologies, I just realized I paid no attention to the fact you wrote Riyadh on the subject line. I answered for the Aramco compounds, not Riyadh.
KAUST and KFUPM someone posted expats could attend those colleges, but they are not in Riyadh.
King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is outside Jeddah.
King Fayad University of Petroleum and Minerals is in Dhahran Area.
