I've read on the forum that some people buy a card which provides them with unlimited internet through a wireless company in SA. At least here in the US, if you power a lap top with internet through a cell phone, they hit you with a big time additional charge. Before I do something crazy like buy a 15" laptop on cyber Monday to take with me ... I just want to confirm that it is possible to get true all you can eat "lap top internet" for a reasonable price.
Could somebody PLEASE confirm this. I'd hate to buy a lap top and then find out that I can't connect to the internet with it during the long bus rides to and from ABQ.
Thanks a bunch!

There are several options.
1. You subscribe to a data sim and the portable wifi device with unlimited data 2. you buy the data on a monthly plan (1GB or more) that comes together with your cell plans 3. You buy only the data sim to slot into your mobile device on pre-paid amount (5GB for the first purchase and then maybe 4 cents per MB or something like that).
Lots of options and no restriction with regards to tethering with your cell.
