Hi,
As a contractor I am expected to find my own accomodation. My contract states location Abqaiq. As I will be working for NITI - new training organisation sponsored by Aramco just want to know how much does accommodation cost?
Single room - sharing 1 bedroom flat 2 bedroom flat
Also, whats the procedure for family to come over. Currently my Working status is single. How long does it take to bring family over.
Currently i have 1 years contract. They said its renewable every year. Is there any contractors who have been working for a long time.
Sorry for the questions. This is probably the biggest decision of my life.
Your help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Best to get in writing when your family can come.

that might be the case with project engineers. Not too sure about finance staff though.

yes your right not to bring your family out if you don't live in the compound.
Do you know other contractors?? How are they finding it?

Your probably based at dhahran?

It is possible to drive every day, Aramcons choose to do so to and from ABQ to DHA every work day and to Khobar on the weekends. It will take about 45 mins to an hour depending on where you live in Khobar and where your office is in ABQ.

Just for clarification - can contractors live in Aramco Compounds or are the living accommodation for staff only (not contractors) who work for Aramco?
Thanks Faisal.

Contractors do not live in the Aramco compounds, direct hires only.
