Thank you all for your great posts in this forum.
I have 18 yrs of experience in Canada and Dubai with 2 masters and 5 certificates. Few months ago, I received an offer from Aramco for a GC 13 position. That time I had some doubts that the grade is below where I should be, so I asked the recruiter who advised it is a very senior position so I accepted the offer on that basis.
I am currently in the visa process when I came across several managers in Aramco who advised that I should be located in either GC 15 or at least 14 according to my experience and skills. I am worried that with GC13 duties I would feel downgraded and handling 10 years back kind of duties.
My question is, what should I do? Should I seek to contact the supervisor directly asking for an upgrade, or should I try to negotiate with the recruiter? Is there a risk that the current offer would be withdrawn?
