Has anyone reading this post had experience in junking an old camp car? I found some general guidelines on the Ministry of Interior web site, but am looking for specifics on how to go about this from within camp. This is an old "camp car" that we bought too rashly when we were new, and we need to get rid of it quite soon, get it off the iqama before we can buy a new one (we've read previously that you can only have 2 vehicles registered to an iqama at one time). It is fully registered and insured, but couldn't make a drive outside the camp. We'll need to get it towed.
If anyone can respond or PM me, I'd appreciate it. I don't have access to HR Online at home, and my husband works off site and has very infrequent access.
Does anyone know where the closest "sping office" is located?

AAA on camp on DHA also has a junk yard. You may want to check with them as well.
