o,
I would like to ask about the opportunities in Aramco for a Canadian sprinklefitter. The candidate is an apprentice and has 10+ years of experience in fire protection. He completed all 4 levels of college technical training programs for sprinklerfitting. Most jobs we found on Aramco jobs website require a BSc minimum for application.
Is it true that Aramco only hires people with university degrees? He is a hard worker and is very good at his job. How can we find out about opportunities and available jobs? He would like to apply for a job in Aramco some time over the next year.
ps. we already searched the internet for answers to that question but were not able to find anything.

Yes, mostly they hire people with degrees. He can apply, list his training and experience. If they want him, they will contact him. Or he would not hear anything, or he could get a letter or email saying there is nothing for him.

Technician jobs at Aramco do not require a degree, but typically require at least 6 years post apprenticeship experience.
To be honest with you, I would expect the line of work you talk about would be carried out by contractors

Hi Taboo,
While aramco installs sprinkler systems on most of their buildings, it doesn't do the job itself. The construction contractor carries out the work required. Aramco only does the project management part. However, aramco does conduct inspections afterwards along with function tests. Most of the people I know who attend these tests and conduct inspections hold an engineering degree.
There is a Fire Protection Department in Aramco. I hope this helps!
