How does the local iqama transfer work with Aramco? Once you have the demand letter from Aramco, can you resign from your current position to get the release letter required for transfer to Aramco. I am unable to get a clear direction from my recruiter. Any past experiences?

I am in the same situation like you
first they will ask for NOC in order to send you the final offer ,if you finished all the stages positively then Aramco will request from your employer to transfer your Iqama ,if not nothing will happen ,best of luck

Dear Viahero, I am in the same situation like you. I just received an offer via Houston recruiter along with hard copy. Please note i had face to face interview in Houston. Do you know if I have to inform my recruiter that I would like to go with local transfer and in that case the documents requirement will be different then the normal hiring via Houston or not. Do you have any idea. BTW you got your offer via Houston or from local aramco recruiter, i mean saudi aramco Saudi HR. Your help in this regards will be highly appreciated.

How easy is to get NOC from Oil Field Service Company ? If my company refuse to give me NOC? Option will be to go out of KSA on final Exit & re-enter with new Aramco Visa. Anybody has any experience wit this?

calgary1,
o there
about the documents its the same ,if you are already in KSA or no its the same ,the only disadvantage is the NOC ,in case that you r in KSA you should get NOC from your compay ,other ways regarding regarding rest of the process its the same ,,BI,,HEALTH CHECK,,,,ETC

bsr2go,
Hi
About getting the NOC ,for sure it depend on in your company not on Aramco ,keeping in mind that most of the companies in KSA will consider your request for the NOC equal to resignation ,however,if your company refuse to give you NOC ,Aramco wont give you an offer ! so go out on final exit not valid in your case ,you need to get NOC in order to get an offer from Aramco, best of luck

viahero, Thanks for explaining the NOC process. I was trying to mean - Resign from Present Employer & go out of KSA on Final Exit. Then Apply for Saudi Aramco Visa . Is NOC needed in this case also? My situation is little bit difficult . I am still waiting for Offer from Saudi Aramco . As process is long which may take 4-6 months, meanwhile my current employer has a new project coming up in KSA & they may transfer me there. I am looking to join Aramco as & when offer will materlise. If my transfer to KSA with present employer is going to create more complication in my Joining Aramco , I will not take a transfer to KSA with my current Employer.

My friend 1st double check with your recruiter, because from what I know officially from Aramco that even if you get your offer and you accepted and send it back to them and they start the BI,,,,,etc they will ask you not to resign ! until you start the transformation process ,so if you will get your NOC and get final exit ,it will be like a lottery for you with Aramco ,and this is why they are saying always ,Dont resign before we finish ! UNLESS you get an official confirmation from Aramco,Dont resign untill they finish everything ,because its might take upto 6 months

o
I did mine the first week of Feb. so we have almost the same timeline.
My understanding is that this is not a lengthy process so I am wondering why it has taken so long.
Thanks

Can one join ARAMCO with the NOC only and without transferring employment? I would guess that would mean applying for a new visa.
