o, I have arrived to Abqaiq last week and planning to ship our dog to join us. Has any of you successfully shipped their dog from the UK and could recommend a company or contact that you were pleased with? Or opposite - a company I should avoid? We have a Weimaraner and would like to bring her at the beginning of January 2014. Sadly cannot travel with her and unable to do apparently easier 'excess luggage' transport. Any of your advice welcome. Also, if any of you lives with your dog in Abqaiq and willing to share their experience or tips on where to take dog to exercise - I would love to hear them. Best wishes, Anna ania.szabo@gmail.com landline: 572 42 37

We brought our dog from the US to Abqaiq, so I can't help you with the UK requirements. However, we walk our dog all over the compound for her exercise. There are lots of sidewalks and grassy areas as well.

We really enjoy it here. We're in Abqaiq and like the small community feel. We can easily drive to Khobar if we want to do more shopping, but we don't have to deal with the bigger city and traffic if we don't want. It's beginning to cool a bit and temps are great when the sun goes down.

I gathered the pet shippers' information under The discussion group: Frequently Asked Questions.
