I've just been informed tonight that I have got my Visa, just awaiting flight details next week Timeline - 09 Aug 13 - Informed,via recruiter, of London interview dates 29 Aug 13 - London Interview 29 Aug 13 -Signed offer of employment (immediately after interview) 05 Sep 13 - Medical in London - (provisionally told passed, pending bloods) 01 Oct 13 - Visa paperwork to Saudi Embassy in london 04 Oct 13 - Visa issued to recruiter , informed next step flight tickets Very quick turnaround and I'm extremely pleased!!

Mine was just as quick, I moved out on 24 Sep and although only here a week it seems like the right decision to have made. Good luck with the move 8)

I wonder if these quick turnaround time is for specific department like finance or personnel or any functional department. I think since I am from core business department ( reservoir characterization) it take longer time.

Hi spudulike, that is a quick turnaround ! I pretty much had all my paperwork sent back in August and my medical in September. I speak to my relocation advisor every week and still I get the we have heard nothing. They've had my passport for nearly 4 weeks now and am getting to the point where I need to start looking for other work which I need my passport for. I was told from when I accepted the offer that I had to get paperwork done ASAP which I did as I was looking at a departure date of early September. I did all this in such a short space of time for it all then to come to a halt. Good luck with your move and new employment guys , hopefully get an update next week.
