o all. My family and I are in the final stages of coming to Saudi. We will be living in Rakkah and have a very tentative arrival date of 19 Nov. However, we are still waiting on Visa le.
With that said, I am looking for guidance.
My Children 5th and 2nd grades have been immersed in French and Spanish school since they where 18mos old and are fluent in French and Spanish. As we understand, neither will have a chance to continue there languages in the Aramco Schools. Thus we are looking for tutors in both languages that can assist with there languages as neither parent actually speak either language well enough to help them to advance their skills.

So, is there a resource that I can be directed to in order to find tutors, groups or some other asset to continue there languages?

Thanks in advance and I am sure i will have many more questions as I wait for the les as all other contingencies have been met.

Elementary School has some Arabic I think. Hopefully someone with kids currently in school will answer.

This year, Dhahran Hills Elementary School started an Elementary Foreign Language class. This is an optional year long course that parents pay for. Arabic, Spanish, and I believe French. There are also foreign language lunch clubs for the kids, and private lessons by residents in the camp. Just ask around at the school when you arrive.

You could even start your own immersion language after school or weekend play group.
