o and thanks for all the useful posts on this forum. Im new to this forum but seem hooked as cant stop reading!
I had been approached by a recruitment agency back in May for a position with Saudi Aramco in Jubail city. I applied and my resume was shortlisted. I was contacted for an interview but was unable to attend due to work reasons.
I was again contacted in August to say Saudi Aramco were due to be in the U.K in October and would I be available for an interview. What an opportunity, I have done a lot of research into the company and would love the opportunity to work for a global leader.
As the weeks got closer I was told about interview locations and claiming back expenses, briefed on the role and asked to provide passport copies/ 2 months of payslips and all my relevant qualifications so a pack could be put together for the day of interview if I was successful.
Now four days before the interview I have received an email to say that the interview has been postponed and that it maybe rearranged for a couple of weeks time although this would be advised.
After trawling the forums I have read that this happens fairly often although the process can go on for months. Should i feel negative about this, was there a problem with my application or is this normal?
I feel priviledged to have been shortlisted and considered for an interview just unsure what to do next?
thanks

Have patience. It could have needed to be rescheduled for all kinds of reasons. Wait and keep in touch with your recruiter every 3 or 4 weeks as needed.
