I got an offer from Aramco and looks like accommodation is going to be in Rakkah. I have a son, who will be going to Dhahran High School (Academy) soon. I understand Aramco does not provide bus for high school kids. Does anyone in Rakkah have their children going to this high school? How do you manage a safe commute? Can you also provide feedback on the school? This will greatly help in our decision making. Thanks.

Aramco does provide bus service to Dhahran High School. They might have to catch the bus in Dhahran, do not know if they have a bus from Rakkah yet. Do call bus info and find out. If you do not get an answer here. The number will be on your phone list that will be in your home on arrival.
If you work in Dhahran and drive, you may want to drop off and pick up your son.

Thanks vpainter! My recruiter checked on the transportation services for the High School. She said that Aramco does provide transportation to & from Dhahran Academy(Dhahran High school). Therefore, our son would not have to take a taxi or rely on a carpool....which in turn implies that I am planning to accept the offer!  |
