Hi,
Can some one help me to understand what would be estimated cost of shipping your stuff to ABQ from Ireland? I would have 4 to 6 boxes. I am not sure, if I should take cash in lieu or ship myself? any suggestions appreciated.

With 4 to 6 boxes, you may want to consider cash in lieu and bring them all as excess luggage. Then you would have them on arrival.

Rather than starting a new thread, I'm asking this here.
I'm at the visa stage and have been asked to consider shipping or cash in lieu options. As such, I was after some advice from those who have shipped from the UK to abqaiq. I've been told by my relocation advisor, and read on the forum too, that it's either shipping or 50% of the value in cash.
What I wish to know, and would be grateful for a PM if no one wants to respond via the thread is, how much is the cash? I appreciate its a little crass to discuss money but don't want to be left short if buying things out there when I could have shipped and not lost out.

ndadI was told that the cash in lieu depends on, where you are located. So your reloc. rep will be able to get you exact figure.
