o everyone. We are in the relocation process and are expected to go to Rakkah. We will not have children coming with us to the Kingdom. We have many friends (who were very helpful in making our decision) living in Dhaharan. Can anyone share experiences about the transportation services in Rakkah vs. Dhaharan? Is there the same availability and level of service? What about shopping for everyday needs such as food, etc.? Also, I am avid bicycle rider. I was told that you could do that in Dhaharan. Anyone living in Rakkah that could comment on this? Do I need to take a bike rack since we'll be off-site? Any help and/or words of wisdom would be appreciated.

There are Aramco buses that go to Dhahran offices and schools, and separate buses that go to the malls. We expect to see additional buses/routes in the future. There are also taxis available on-site.
The local commissary has most of our everyday needs. If you can't find something you need, you can special-order and they will bring it to the commissary in 1-2 days.
I'm not sure if you can find a bike rack here, so you will probably want to bring yours.
