Several items are restricted in the list we have received pre-move so what to do about below:
1. It says we shouldn't bring any liquids in the shipment: On the other hand, ppl here have suggested bringing favorite shampoos, soaps, etc. We wanted to bring some soaps, shampoos, etc.
2. It says not to bring any over-the-counter medicines unless accompanied with a doctor's note: Do doctors in the US actually give it out? We are just looking to get the kids' tylenol, and some vitamins and not sure if a doctor will give a prescription for that.
Thanks

No liquids in the sea shipment. You can bring liquids in your checked boxes or luggage. I've never heard of anyone being questioned about OTC meds in their baggage, but of course it's always a risk you decide on your own.
I'm glad we followed the instruction about no batteries in the sea shipment. It was a big project, removing them from toys and everything, but in our case, our shipment sat for weeks in a metal transport container in summer heat. That was upwards of 125 F.
