Folks,
Would appreciate your response.
Have been interviewed for IT consultant /Architect position. Interview went very well. Now waiting on the response.
I know it is too early to say, but what Grade should I expect for consultant/Architect role.
Have 14 year of experience in IT.

I am answering my own post. I got an offer, immediately on second day of interview at London. I was surprised to see the Salary - honestly, I was expecting half of what they offered me :roll: - I would have accepted it even if it matched my current. I am offered two times more of my current salary. Even though I was expecting consultant role  but I got yst I role- See human is never happy! |

Just curious . Does anyone know the requirement for Visa block ?. If Job description says computer science or computer engineering , is it required to have same degree discipline or if degree is in mechanical engineering but have relevant experience required for the job /all industry certification asked in the job . Would be possible to request visa block using different degree but relevant experience and certification ?.
Is anyone has similar experience in the past ?.

If the position states "engineer" the degree has to state "engineer" experience or advanced degrees (masters, e.g) don't matter. This is for new labor law. Thats why a lot of people in engineering positions that had other degrees were deported

I understand , what i like to know if position says engineer , does it matter the discipline or as long as you have 4 years engineering degree and relevant experience it should be good to get visa block .
In short position says Computer engineering and if one has Mechanical engineering plus relevant experience and all certificates listed in the position , would he qualify ?
