The one thing I got from this interview is that you have to be very lucky even if you have years of experience. I was interviewed by two very nice Saudi gentlemen but it was for what seemed to me was a construction position. I am a mechanical engineer with over 25 years of experience and not one single second in the construction industry. When I left the interview, I knew that an offer was not forthcoming and after my defriefing by the JATCO people, my feelings were verified. I was told that if I had interviewed 2 weeks earlier I would have gotten an offer because there were plenty of mechanical engineering position available but because ARAMCO is in a world wide interview frenzy those slots were already filled. So if you , like me was not extended an offer, don't blame it on your credentials or interviewing skills, it may have been bad timing. Another thing, the interviews by ARAMCO are very unlike your typical American interviews, they don't beat around the bushes and want to know what your credentials are to do the job right away.

CTRAY,
Great disappointment to be called for an interview in London (I prepared for 2 months during my holidays) and the only questions in an interview 15min long were because I want to move from manufacturing to oil and gas, and if I think I can transfer my skills from manufacturing to oil and gas. Why do you call me if you thought from the beginning that I did not have the proper background ?
