Is the process of hiring still the same? I will be interviewing in Houston on Sept. 7 with JATCO, they asked me to bring copies of my latest paystub, passport and educational credentials or diploma. I would have thought they would ask for these document when doing the background check.

It is very normal, Aramco asks for the info to come with you. They will need to make you an offer if they want to and they want to know up front if you are who they need. The BI would not be done prior to the offer, so that is too late.
