Good morning everyone,

I would thank all members IN or OUT of KSA that are helping us as new hires to understand the process. My concerns are: My husband is in the process of hiring and in the final stage. His BI and medical were cleared a month ago and now waiting for the Visa Block or le!!He is trying to get hold to his Reloc-Adviser so she can update his status and answer his relocation questions, but unfortunately she is not getting back to him either on the phone or by emails and it`s been over two weeks.We are so stressed out and we don`t know what to do!!!please help us with some answers that can relieves us.School is next week in Canada and we did not receive the acceptance letter from Aramco`s school! We are lost.

This is normal. It is very possible your relocation advisor is on vacation which could be up to 4 - 7 weeks. If you do not have a visa and departure date, then carry on life as usual.

If your school costs money, then you might have to decide whether or not to pay and go, but if its free, send them to school. You will just withdraw them when the time comes.

It's summer and this is when a lot of personnel take their annual vacation (which can be 3 to 6 weeks long). With the incident that occured last year, it is very difficult (unless you make a request via your manager) to access email outside of the office so that could be the reason. I took 4 weeks vacation and was out of the loop in terms of anything to do with the office the entire time.

I cleared BI and health about 2 weeks ago. My relocation adviser (RA) was waiting on the visa le and told me, would let me know, especially since they had received a batch of visas just before labor day. Since then, however, I have not been able to get a response from my RA either on the phone or by email. I'm sure they are overwhelmed at ASC and unable to address all of our anxieties/ questions (the process can be anxiety prone if you let it).
Thanks to this forum which is a tremendous resource for information that helps me understand the ARAMCO process and that there are others who are in the same situation as myself.
