Any Aramcons out there who have retired to, or are looking at the possibility of retiring in Ecuador, or have friends retired there? Would be interested in hearing your thoughts.

Ecuador is one of two countries on my "short list" for a vacation home (for now) and a retirement home (up the road).
I've learned much about their excellent retirement benefits from internationalliving.com.
